Almarhum Fuad Salim Abdallah Bin Taher Al- Nahdi.

On 20th March 2020 the Hadhrami-Kenyan Diaspora lost one of it's staunchest sons in a London hospital.

Fuad Nahdi was a lively and active community leader. He did a lot towards bringing together interfaith dialogues and understanding.

A journalist by profession he was the publisher of " Q News " a Muslim magazine and in 2008 setup the Radical Middle Way (RMW) an organisation on understanding the teachings of Islam.

Radical Middle Way's mandate is to engage with young Muslims in order to present a convincing and positive religious discourse promoting mercy, public service and civic participation as emblematic Islamic values and challenging illegitimate theological arguments favouring violence and terrorism against civilians.
RMW operates in the United Kingdom and internationally.

Fuad was larger than life, he mingled with everyone young and old, rich & poor.  He was always joyous and enjoyed debating on all issues.
To me he was a great friend and younger brother. He would call me wherever I was, to check on events particularly about our ancestral homeland "Hadhramaut " and our birth place "Mombasa."

At this grieving time, we pray to Allah to rest his soul in Eternal Peace and grant him - Jannat Al Firdause. Inna Lillah waina ileyhi Rajioun. May Allah give his family courage and patience at this great loss.
I will dearly miss him as a friend and brother.

Muhammad Bin Dohry
