تعقيباً على ما جاء في موقعكم بتاريخ ٢٢ سبتمبر ٢٠١٦ عن المسمى الأجتماع التأسيسي للاتحاد العالمي للجاليات اليمنية الذي أعلنتم انه تم في ممباسا بكينيا.  

نفيدكم علماً بأن الخارجية الكينية في توضيح لها  ان ملابسات هذا الأجتماع المُعلن انه لم يتم منحه التصريح الرسمي و لم تُصدر لهم الموافقة على انعقادها بعد ان تم اكتشاف ان المتقدم بالطلب الرسمي لا يحمل اي صفة حكومية و انه لم تصدر رسالة من السفارة اليمنية بكينيا لطلب الترخيص بعقد هذا الاجتماع الغير قانوني.

وقد تم رسمياً من الحكومة الكينية منع من يسمون رؤساء الجاليات اليمنية من عقد الاجتماع في كينيا.  

فكيف تم الأعلان عن انعقاد الأجتماع الوهمي و الخروج بقرارات و توصيات و انتخابات و تم نشر الخبر على نطاق واسع. و نطالب صحيفتكم بفتح تحقيق صحفي لتكشف لقرأها الأعزاء عن هذا الاجتماع التي تم بأسم المغترب اليمني و من يقف خلفها و التحقق من أهدافها و مطالبة الدولة اليمنية ممثلة بوزارة المغتربين ولخاررجية لوضع حد لمثل هذه الاجتماعات الوهمية التي تستغل المغترب اليمني وتعمل لأهداف شخصية و تكون نتائجها سلبية على الوطن و المغترب. 

ولقد أكد ريس جمعية الإسعاف العربية والقنصل الفخري اليمني بممباسا عن عدم علمهم بهذا الاجتماع ولا وصول الوفود المزعومة،

كما ان مثل هذه التصرفات تسبب 

المشاكل للمغترب في البلد المضيف ، 

انا كنت متواجد شخصيا في ممباسا و غادرت يوم ٧ سبتمبر  ٢٠١٦ ولم نسمع من اي مغترب او مسؤول عن انعقاد او ترتيب الاجتماع المزعوم!

I was astounded to read the above Aden Al Ghad Arabic article of 22 September 2016 under the heading, 

" Statement on the formation of the International Union of Yemeni Emigrants at a meeting in Kenya" !

The fact is that the claims of the outcome of the said meeting after further investigations are totally false.

I was in Kenya recently and departed from Mombasa on 7th September 2016. I sat and met old friends, called on all the who is who - elders, leaders, officials and the general public in the Yemeni community in Mombasa and other areas of the country. No one and I mean no one ever mentioned a forthcoming conference or meeting that was going to take place for Yemeni Emigrants in Kenya, or elsewhere in East Africa!

The names appearing in the article are unknown to me personally and to many others. I met the Yemeni Ambassador to Kenya briefly at a function in Mombasa with many Yemenis (Hadhramis & others) as I also met the Yemeni Honorary Consul in Mombasa on many occasions during my visit none mentioned any kind of gathering or meeting that was going to take place in Kenya!

The article claims Yemeni Emigrant representatives attended from India, Canada, Sweden, Norway,Qatar, Switzerland, Holland, France, Russia, South Sudan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Kenya & Uganda.

This kind of meeting looks very dubious, who is behind it and how come there were no photos of all those who attended the meeting, at which venue was it held in Mombasa ? It leaves a lot of question marks. We in the diaspora are hosts in countries like Kenya and elsewhere. We must not abuse the goodwill of our hosts with meetings, which may be considered political or otherwise. They will always create further divisions, disunity and may be a detriment in the relations between the Yemeni emigrants and the local community/authorities.

I have received further confirmation from the President of the Arab Welfare Society and the Honorary Consul of Yemen in Mombasa that NO local Yemeni attended or knew of such a meeting. I have a copy of the letter from the Yemeni Ambassador sent to the Kenya Ministry of Foreign Affairs disclaiming that the embassy had officially sent a letter requesting a meeting of Yemeni Emigrants in Mombasa. 

My sources inform me a directive was sent to the Head of Security for the Coast to deny permission for any such meetings.
